Brendon, the dyno used in the video looks like a M&W P400. They came with a calculator wheel that would allow you to read correct HP at nearly any RPM. the gauge is calibrated for 535 620 & 1000 PTO rpm, anything else used the calculator wheel. We have a P400 and the wheel.

Hi Jack. The dyno gauge is calibrated for HP at 540 rpm or 1000 rpm. It is also calibrated to read pressure in psi. If you are interested in finding the max Hp, which very well may be at an rpm other than the 540 or 1000 pto speed, you can cross reference the chart to get Hp using the simultaneous readings of psi and rpm from the dyno.

Same with my M&W. Like was already explained, torque is a force, and HP is torque over a unit of time. The old Chicago Helicoid gauge on my P-400 M&W is out of calibration, so I mounted a nice fluid-filled hydraulic gauge beside it until I can get the old one repaired. I just use the tach for pto speed, and then read the pressure direct.
