The serial number is E-37 and the head states it is one of the Spanish made machines. I believe that Clausing purchased Kondia, but I am unsure if the Clausing Kondia mills were still made in Spain or not. I have sent an email to both the Spanish and US sites listed above and will wait for a response.

Over the last few weeks, my Clausing Kondia FV1/CNC knee mill has developed a z-axis issue: when undertaking a drilling op, as the drill breaks through, the quill seems to spring downwards enough that I notice.

I picked up a 1990 Clausing Kondia FV-1 with a Delta Dynapath 20 control this week. It's the fixed head model - no tilt/nod/swivel. It appears to have a 30 taper spindle, which has a quick change adapter in it currently - maybe kwik-switch, not sure yet.

Clausing Kondia V Mill. 07-03-2001, 01:20 AM. I was lucky enough to becomer the owner of a Clausing Kondia VS mill. The problem is I can find no resources to help in a mild rebuild. I have found that Bridgeport has a service manual which explains how to overhaul, what lubes to use, repairs.

If it's aluminum, JB weld should work. If it's bakelite or similar JB makes an epoxy plastic repair that works well on plastics other than the cheap Chinese stuff. Mike. its aluminum. unfortunately it is also bent. im looking for an adequate substitute at the moment. before i attempt to repair the bends.
